Yesterday's
painting. I had hoped to make two paintings yesterday, but as usual,
life got in the way. This was about an hour and I just touched up the
background this morning. It's a concrete garden Buddha that my daughter
bought me. I have never put it in the garden though. I have always
used it as a door stop in my studio because I thought it was really cute
and I wouldn't see it as much if I put it outside.
I found painting the grey values in this interesting and liberating because I didn't have to think so much about colour.
